CARLY IS A 13 Year old Cross Breed Bitch
Needing a new or Foster Home

Our Lovely Foster Lady has addopted KAT
Thank You

KAT
Our Foster Lady Said
Kat is just a beautiful girl. She was shy at first but now just feels like at home so I am pretty sure she will adapt very quickly in her future permanent home. She is a typical Greyhound very gentle and loves to sleep. Her favourite furniture is the sofa and if she could she would spend the whole day on it. She is not hyperactive and walks fantastic on the lead sometimes gets stressed when sees other dogs when outside. Kat does not know how to play with toys so I presume she never had them. She is does not play with my dog either but that could be down to the fact that she has recently been spayed and is still a little bit sore. Kat is very good with my dog and other foster she instantly made friends with them they all slept cuddling together in the first night. She does however get a little bit stressed when she sees other dogs in the park she is more afraid than aggressive though and I think it can be corrected with lots of regular walks. She loves people and is fine with children. Not food aggressive but loves her food. She is house trained took her one day to understand only sometimes may still need to go to the garden for 5 min in the middle of the night. Kat loves human contact and greets you every morning as if you were gone for months. She is really a very special girl.
Is a super Black Greyhound Bitch
She is 18 Months old

                               KAT IN A NEW HOME
Lynn is a valued member of our team she calls for Max every Friday night and brings him back on a Monday morning because she works and can't take a dog full time. Max has been here in Rescue since last August

Christine is a valued member of our foster team
Morning all, just a photo of the three boys to show you.  Jak is settling really well, hes getting out and about every weekend doing different things.  He is still quite nervous around certain people but he is improving every day.  I am hopefully meeting up with some people from the Mountain Rescue team this week to see if we can get involved and do some training with them.  I will let you know how things progress

Dash has been with us for 4 weeks now and settled in to family life immediately.
Dash is fully house trained and will let you know when he wants to go out. He is kept in a cage on the few occasions he is left in the house on his own. On one occasion his door was left open, so Dash just curled up on the sofa and went to sleep. He has never chewed or damaged anything in his time with us.
On his first night with us he did cry and paw at the cage. I slept downstairs for that one night and we’ve had no problems with him since.
Dash is excellent around our children aged 10 and 12 years, they both walk him with no problems as he is very good and walks by your side. Sometimes he will bark at other dogs and pull on his lead. I feel he could do with a little dog socialising to build his confidence around other dogs.
He is a little unsure when walked at night, he is on edge at the slightest sound and is unsure of dark figures.
Dash is a lovely natured dog, he is very loving and loves to be cuddled and stroked, Dash is also very obedient and follows commands. He is excellent around his food and allows you near him when he eats.
The children will be very sad to see him go but I hope he finds that loving home he deserves.

Just look how happy Bess is

Kevin / Linda,
Just a note to let you know how Julie - now Bess - is getting on.
She has settled in very well, depite the fact that, as a stray, she had
no history.
She must have had a bad time in the past as she has a number of things
that make her a bit jittery but nothing we can't sort out.
WE have had her to the vet for a good once over and, as long as we don't
expect her to race greyhounds of hike the Lakes, she should be fine
plodding along for years to come.
Her and Meg - the jack russel - have an agreement that they will ignor
each other for most of the time and them try and get the majority of the
attention that's on offer!
